Has learning to surf been your dream? It’s a good one to have, and the calm waters of La Jolla Shores is the best spot to learn! Our experienced instructors are eager to share their passion for surfing with beginners and intermediates alike - no experience necessary, all equipment provided.

Our instructors respect each student’s choice regarding his or her level of participation in the lesson, and comfort in the water. You’ll have fun learning how to surf in a safe environment!

What's Included

All participants get an Everyday California Rash Guard, and surfboard for 90 minute lesson. Guest may keep the equipment for an additional hour after lesson is over to continue surfing.

I recently took a surf lesson with Everyday California and had an absolute blast! The whole experience, from booking to catching waves, was fantastic. My instructor, Chris H., deserves a huge shoutout. He was incredibly helpful throughout the entire lesson. It was tough, but Chris's patience kept me going! His clear instructions and positive attitude encouraged me to keep trying (after every fall,lol). If you're looking to learn to surf in San Diego, I can't recommend Everyday California enough!

Surf instructor Jesse was amazing and personable, very knowledgeable overall made the experience a 10/10, we learned to do yoga poses on the board which was something I’ve never seen anyone else incorporate into surf lessons. I had a very fun time, thank you

Recommend Robbie to teach you how to surf! I had no experience and I had a blast!! He made it easy to learn and so fun! I definitely will be back!
