Located on the world famous Highway 76 “strip” in the heart of Branson, Missouri, Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Theater boasts 966 seats and a million dollar spectacular stage set! Memorabilia from Dick Clark’s American Bandstand archives, recalling the historic roots of rock n’ roll and country, is also featured in the lobby of this world class facility. Beer & wine service is available on our 2nd floor landing.

We were in Springfield and ran out of things to do. Went to Branson and during off season was able to get last minute VIP seating which means you are on the balcony with a table and great view of the show. The Temptations were my favorite part but it was all very very good. Of course, typical for us, we had the loud couple beside us not interested in the show but just their own conversation which got louder the more they drank. Thankfully the table next to us was empty and we were able to move away some, but they were (especially "her") extremely self centered and rude. Not sure why they were there, tickets must have been free. The costumes are good, the music is better.

Watched Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, The Temptations & Kenny Cheney imitators. They did a great job. My favorite was Garth Brooks’ performance, followed by Elvis’s performance. They were engaging and entertaining, lots of energy and interaction with the audience. One thing that I really appreciated was the fact that they didn’t do a lot of special effects with the lights, or smoke, or strobe lighting......just plain entertainment.

The Entertainers were very good as well as friendly. The opening was terrible with just The dancers and mirrors. Surly there is a better opening with more than just The dancers. The dancers just didn't compare to other shows in Branson like Clay Coopers. Really need training and improvement. I think the talent is there but need the training. Also could do without the skimpy costumes. Let their talent show, not their other stuff. Would be nice to offer a popcorn/drink combo. Some of the video with Garth and Trisha was off time, and some of it was just strange. Stick to pictures and video of the actual artist. Not fake birds and such. Would I go back? Yes, but with lower expectations of the overall show. But thought the actual Entertainers were very good.
