Brought my 7 year old daughter. Had a great time. Could have spent a hour just taking in the City of Chicago piece.

We took our daughter and 3 grandchildren to Legoland and unfortunately cannot recommend it for anything other than a sales gimic. While it is true are some fascinating Lego "scenes" you get to walk past and in some cases engage with, plus a ride (short) and not that effective, plus a 4D movie (lame), and a play area with lots of Legos of all different sizes, the bottom line is you have to exit through the store where everything Lego is for sale at full price, many of them well into the hundred's of dollars. Of course kids want more than is reasonable, so there were tears and tough choices, but in the end our daughter spent way more than she could really afford. Definitely won't be back sales trap again. If you have lots of money to spend on your kids, it may be worth the trip, just know the cost of entry is only the start.

We brought a 3, 6, and 14 year old hear. We got there at ten and we’re the first ones in the door. We thankfully had foresight to do the rides first. One is like a carnival ride and one is a interactive shooting one. The flying one had two of six planes broken. They weren’t anything special. Not worth the 30 minute wait later in the morning. The main problem I had was that there were 7 different field trip groups that we counted. The place was so busy by the time we left at noon. It’s actually the reason we left. We were waiting for the movie for ten minutes then an employee came and told us it was broken. A sign would have been nice. Overall they need more staff. There were kids sliding down the car track and climbing on all sorts of things not meant for climbing. Of course parents should take care of that but there’s no staff except at the rides and movie. One employee was wearing sweatpants. For the price you pay to get in you should get a better experience. We will not return.
