What To Expect

Crown Center

Located at Crown Center in Kansas City, LEGOLAND Discovery Center offers a world of fun for children ages 3-10. With this admission ticket, you'll have access to plenty of entertaining attractions to keep the whole family busy for a day of LEGO-building fun. A typical visit usually lasts two to three hours, but you can stay as long as you like.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center

Start your Legoland Discovery Visit at the LEGO Factory, where Professor Brick-a-Brack shares how LEGO bricks get their shapes and colors. Then move onto Miniland, and indulge in The Wizard of Oz fun by traveling from Dorothy’s Farm over the rainbow to Munchkin Land, and then end your journey in the Emerald City. You can construct a LEGO building at the Earthquake Tables, and then watch as plates move to test the strength of each tower. At LEGO Racers, you can build and test your own race car! Amp up the adventure aboard a mighty chariot on the Kingdom Quest Laser Ride, using mounted laser guns to zap trolls and spiders as they appear around each corner, or become a top wizarding student by pedaling a bike as fast as you can to help create a magic potion on Merlin’s Apprentice Ride. SEA LIFE Kansas City

Make a full day of it and upgrade your visit with a Combo Ticket that includes admission to Legoland Discovery Center and Sea Life Aquarium. This fun aquarium will educate, surprise and delight all members of the family. See 'smiling' stingrays, be engulfed by a school of fish, watch as sharks swim overhead and get hands on in the touchpools.

We had the combo ticket for Legoland and the Aquarium, but it was still not worth the money. My 10 year old son had wanted to visit forever, so I surprised him with the trip. He didn't enjoy it at all and was very bored. The big ride was broke down, which we were not informed of before purchasing tickets. The main car ramp was not working correctly. Also, the Ninjago event that was being advertised was nothing but a character walking around. We were there for a hour and left. My children were very disappointed as was I. I do think it would be more fun for younger children under the age of 10, but that is all. Mainly, it is just an overpriced building area. You can build with Legos at home.

My son has wanted to come for a long time. we all had a blast and were really shocked with how awesome the aquarium was. We stayed in the lego center for about 4 hours and then the aquarium for about 2. Was so thankful we could finally make his dream come true. Was worth the trip. Thank you.

Nothing was working due to no staff being present. Way over priced and not worth it. The lazer ride worked for half the ride then it never turned back on and they made us get off, there was no one present to run the movie for us after it counted down to start so we had to find an employee to start that, no employee available to have the kids do the rock wall, and we had to find an employee to run the bicycle spin ride when not all of them even worked. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY!! Will not go back!
