Located in Plymouth Meeting, just 30 minutes from Philadelphia, LEGOLAND Discovery Center is an indoor attraction ideal for children aged 3 to 10. It’s one of the top things to do in the area for kids and their families.

Once inside LEGOLAND Discovery Center, make you way to Miniland, where you’ll find iconic, local attractions made out of LEGO. Next, check out Pirate Island Adventure where the kids can go on a swashbuckling quest aboard a LEGO-themed pirate ship. Put your ability and ingenuity to the test at the Ninjago Training Camp and so much more! Get in the fast lane and construct and test race cars at LEGO Racers, or try your hand at building the tallest tower to withstand an earthquake at the Earthquake Tables. When the family is ready for a break, see special effects at the 4D cinema where 15-minute movies play throughout the day. Or head to the cafe for sandwiches and snacks (own expense), and stop by the gift shop on your way out for that perfect LEGO set. This was a huge disappointment. My husband and 6yo were pretty excited to try Legoland. You’re offered a bag of Legos with no explanation. The bag we selected didn’t work at all the attractions. We did trade out bags, but there weren’t enough pieces to use at the attractions. It was confusing! Much smaller than expected. I’d suggest waiting until restrictions are lifted as this was definitely not with the money.

Our family loved our time here. When you enter the location, it seems somewhat small but eventually, you realize that it is much larger than it initially looks. There were plenty of activities and our girls especially enjoyed the pirate ship and the Ninjago laser activity. We also appreciated how there were staff members constantly disinfecting the location.
