We saved a bit of money by using a discount that came from buying some big Lego sets last year. It’s still pretty pricy to go here. But our kids (5, 10 and 14) had a lot of fun. That’s the bottom line. It was 90+ degrees, but we still had fun. We took breaks from the heat by doing indoor activities, like the movie theater and some rides. It was fairly busy, but not too bad. I was going to pay the extra $50 per ticket to get the Lego version of fast passes. But after we saw the crowd size and lack of long lines, we decided not to. And the waits were generally short. All the rides were in operation, except Rogue Riders and Splash Battle, which were briefly shut down due to the risk of thunderstorms. This place is great for under 12 years old. Our 14 year old liked a few rides, and loved the 4D movies…. and it should be said that we did not do the big roller coaster (The Dragon). It’s not huge but it’s fast, with some wicked turns. And we skip those. So your teen might really enjoy this Legoland if they like The Dragon. Legoland is such a cheerful, fun, funny place. Staff was generally very good. There were big fans blowing down on most of the lines. They do need more shade awnings, especially at Mini Legoland. That is located near the end of the big loop (if you go clockwise.). By that point we were tired and hot , and it’s here that you are climbing up the only really big hill, and it’s pretty long. Our 10 year old was at some risk of heat exhaustion……thankfully we found a bench with an umbrella and rested a few minutes, then I rushed him up the hill to get him inside with air conditioning. Legoland is wisely adding a “hub”in the middle of the big loop, so you can cut across to other attractions. Should be ready soon. As will the water park. We got ice cream, which was a bit expensive, and also drinks, which were obscenely expensive. We also made frequent use of the many water refilling kiosks to stay hydrated. And we brought in our own lunch. The elevated views of the surrounding area are really nice. Southern NY is in a bad drought so the grass was kind of brown, but I don’t fault them for that. The grounds were very clean, as were the restrooms. We will probably return, as it is not too far from us. And we will look forward to additions. People who say this place can be done in a couple hours must be nuts. We were there from 10:00 to 5:00, which was perfect. I would give it five bubbles, but the $5 for a bottle of water forces me to deduct one.

Had a lot of fun, many great rides and experiences. As I am a huge Lego fan we will be back for sure. Some criticisms: I wish the map on the app was bigger and easier to see. When you zoom in, the labels do not enlarge, so they are just as difficult to see. Biggest disappointment if the day was that the water playground is not yet open. I did a lot if research online before our visit (Aug 2022) and was totally led to believe by pictures and reviews that it was open. I was shocked to find it was mostly still just a pile of dirt. And my 5 year old was in tears. Also wish miniland had labels. The models are amazing, I wish I knew what more of them were.

I came with a 7 yr old and a 15 month old. They loved it!! There was so many cool things built out of Lego! There was places to build things. Look at things. Try things. Buy things. Ride things. Touch things. Lots of walking but water fountains throughout the park. Everything was clean. Workers were friendly and helpful. Lots of benches to sit on. There was more stairs than I would've preferred but it was ok even with the stroller but then again the baby was walking around or being held most of the time. The rides are so cute! Especially the indoor themed ones (and very short lines)
