You’ll visit shops, markets, and food stands as your guide selects the tastiest treats for you to try. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a view of an incredible Japanese Buddhist temple and learn how this community has managed to maintain its historic traditions as the city around it has changed over the years. Known world-wide for their beauty and precision, Japanese gardens are a wonder to see in person. Enjoy a quick stop at this peaceful spot in the heart of Downtown LA.

Koyasan Buddhist Temple

One of the oldest Buddhist Temples in all of North America, it has served as a community hub for over 100 years. As you pass by, your guide will give you insight to the significance it’s held for residents since 1912.

Hauser & Wirth

Another revamped former factory, Hauser & Wirth is an international art gallery that we’ll have the chance to pop into to enjoy the current exhibition.

I have never been to Little Tokyo in LA! What a little hidden gem this was! Our guide Brooke, took us to this awesome little Garden that was hidden away and I had the yummiest food. She even took us into a Japanese grocery store where we all got to try each other's findings. I love persimmon now, who knew?

Brooke was amazing and a great way to have fresh eyes on an area I shop in often. There were information and places I had not seen before. The tour was well paced, and Brooke did a wonderful job of making each person feel like we were in on something special. Over all wonderful experience I would recommend to that have lived in LA all their life just as much as I would someone that is visiting

Brooke was fun, informative, and organized. Very friendly and welcoming to all. We had a good amount of food to taste, savory and sweet, cold and hot. Brooke did a great job of showing us interesting hidden gems while we were waiting on the food. A secret garden! A hidden temple! We had a great time :)
