You’ll visit shops, markets, and food stands as your guide selects the tastiest treats for you to try. Along the way, you’ll enjoy a view of an incredible Japanese Buddhist temple and learn how this community has managed to maintain its historic traditions as the city around it has changed over the years. Known world-wide for their beauty and precision, Japanese gardens are a wonder to see in person. Enjoy a quick stop at this peaceful spot in the heart of Downtown LA.

Koyasan Buddhist Temple

One of the oldest Buddhist Temples in all of North America, it has served as a community hub for over 100 years. As you pass by, your guide will give you insight to the significance it’s held for residents since 1912.

Hauser & Wirth

Another revamped former factory, Hauser & Wirth is an international art gallery that we’ll have the chance to pop into to enjoy the current exhibition.

I loved tasting all the different types of foods! The secret gardens and spots were very beautiful. I also loved that Brooke told the history behind each place we went to.

Fun and tasty tour with plenty of stops to sample delicious food (buns, mochi, octopus balls, custard waffle fish) and even a choose your own deliciousness part at a supermarket. Great personable tour guide, Brooke, as well, she was a pro at handling a large group too. I have been to Little Tokyo and the Arts District before but never knew about a couple of hidden gem spots! Take this tour, you won't regret it!
