We selected this tour to find out more about the black experience in Charleston and we were not disappointed. Damon is an incredibly knowledgeable historian who has a lovely manner in disseminating often unheard of stories regarding the black south in Charleston. He encouraged questions and had answers no matter the topic as they related to the tour. Also within the tour you gain a lovely view of many of the cities important buildings. We highly recommend this tour and purchased one of his books to learn more!
