Walking tours take place entirely outside and our guides will make sure groups are remaining 6ft apart from each other. Masks are encouraged during the tour and sanitizer is provided upon entrance of meeting spot at Buxton Books (160 King Street). Masks are required inside Buxton Books.

Damon gives excellent insight and accurate information from the historical events that have taken place in Charleston. Doesn’t flinch at any tough questions and is a natural educator. He made the tour comfortable by walking a nice pace and setting up in shady locations when available. We really enjoyed the historically accurate stories that are not commonly spoken or taught but are equally influential to the history and impact of present day America.

Buxton did an amazing job of sharing Charlestown’s past history and how it impacted our nation. The entire tour was filled with well researched historical stories which brought new meaning and life to history. He was entertaining and informative …. The 90 minute tour was alive and life changing.
