What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

The actual canyon is breathtaking. Just make sure you get there 30 minutes early for your tour or be prepared to wait for 3 hours to get in off the wait list. Also we unfortunately had a pretty rude guide that didn’t explain anything to us. The guide in front of us told the group all about it.

Antelope Canyon is amazing. It is probably one of the most unique and beautiful places that I have ever visited. I think it is a must see for anyone except the claustrophobic! It is a little tight. Nolan was our guide and he was fantastic! He was full of information and he took a whole lot of family pictures for us. He was also super friendly. I would go back again for sure.

The tour guide whole lead is the whole way was impressive, he helped us get the best photo shot of the canyon! I think his name was Ben, Asian guy…very patient with all of us. Be sure to give him my props 🤜🏾🤛🏽
