What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

We had Gerry as our guide. He was amazing. Showed us lots of figures inside the canyon that we would've missed. He was very generous with his time to make sure to get the best photos of us. It was like having our own photographer with us! Lots of stairs to climb, some quite steep so wear appropriate shoes. Hats not necessary. And even a water bottle is not necessary. It was cumbersome to carry it. The tour lasted a little over an hour and since we in canyon there's lots of shade.

It was magical. I‘m traveling the whole US rn and this was so incredibly beautiful and special - it’s worth every dollar and you won’t regret it at all, probably the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my whole life
