What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

Because of Covid restrictions the groups that went through the canyon were relatively small. We got to tour the canyon with six other people… Felt very intimate! Our guide Clint was wonderful and we never felt rushed. He took great pictures and filled us in on interesting Navajo history. The canyon is breathtaking…
