What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

This was one of the best tours ever taken, and one of my family’s greatest experience of our lives.. Our tour (Navajo) guide Lydell was excellent and so knowledgeable. He explained in great detail the natural geological formation, and history of the canyon. He is an excellent photographer and was so kind in taking some of our pictures. He captured all the natural colors and natural art formations inside the canyon. This is a most tour. One of the most photographed natural formations/wonders in the country. This tour was worth every penny. Ask for Lydell, he will make this a memorable experience for you.

One of the best tours I have ever done . There were beautiful pictures at every turn. Thanks to Cody, our expert guide who gave us tips on photography in the Lower Antelope Canyon and despite being an amateur photographer, I came out with amazing pictures. The tour in the morning apparently is best for photos and the colors of the rocks-pinks, purples, golds, reds and the blue sky were vivid. An incredible, inspiring experience you don’t want to miss!
