What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

We were paired with Dixie Ellis’ lower canyon and our guide Kristi was amazing. Truly an unforgettable experience! A note if caution- I would not recommend this for a child who isn’t old enough to listen to instructions, because there are some dangerous parts where a child could fall and be seriously injured if they aren’t paying enough attention. Our 5 year old did a great job taking needed portions seriously.
