What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Located a few miles from Upper Antelope, Lower Antelope Canyon, known as "spiral rock arches" by the Navajo, is great for those looking for a little hike and a photographer's dream. The lower canyon is in the shape of a "V" and shallower than the Upper Antelope. Lighting is better in the early hours and late morning. Please note: you must arrive no later than 1 hour prior to selected time.

Brian was a great tour guide. He gave our group ample time to explore and was very insightful. He told us the history of the canyon, how it has been managed throughout the years. He even showed us dinosaur tracks!

Fabulous experience! We went at 10.30am in early Oct. The light was good although no beams at that time of year/day. Keola, our Guide, was excellent, as we're the other guides we could hear. The ladders can get a little tricky, so beware if you have mobility issues. Would definitely recommend.

The Canyon was beautiful and the guides were great! Even my 3 year old enjoyed it! Highly recommend!
