Lower Antelope Canyon Tour Ticket

Overview
Lower Antelope Canyon is one the most exquisitely photographed attractions in the Page Lake Powell area. Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. Visitors get the experience narrow slots an ladder access into some of the sandstone craved shoots an holes formed by the force of runoff into the Antelope Wash from the mesas above.

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

Carlton was our tour guide and he was exceptional. He set up everyoneā€™s camera to be optimized for the tour. He was extremely knowledgeable of the geography, the environment and other things to see in the area. During the tour he provided tons of great information and took many great pictures of the tour participants using their phones. This was an exceptional tour which I would highly recommend and Carlton is an exceptional tour guide.

Everyone has seen spectacular photos of Lower Antelope Canyon -- to the point I almost didn't want to go because of "overexposure"....(I know, likely a personal problem....). But I'm very glad we did! It is an absolutely amazing place -- we now have some of those spectacular photos on our cell phones! The guided tour is well done, based on the demand and sensitivity of the resource. Our small, seven person group -- from Japan, Vietnam Nam, Washington DC and us from Utah -- was pretty much connected to other small guided groups snaking through the canyon in an international conga line, everyone in awe and having fun with the numerous Navajo guides patiently helping with photos and gently making sure we behaved in that precious, unique natural resource -- a good thing! Our guide Kendrick was great - he's a photography expert! -- and another guide treated us to a Navajo flute solo when we exited the Canyon. Highly recommended experiencing Lower Antelope Canyon for yourselves.

The canyon is beautiful but they over book and its congested as hell in there. 2 people had to be helped out because of closetrophobia, and of course the oriental guests were rude to others, as usual. But our guide Ala was awesone!!
