Many visitors prefer the Lower Antelope Canyon to the Upper because it is less crowded, has light throughout, is longer, and offers great variety. What To Expect

Lower Antelope Canyon

Tour Departure Point: Lower Antelope Canyon Indn Route 222 Page, AZ, 86040 Antelope Canyon Tours departs every 1/2 hour a quarter after and a quarter till the hour, the tour is a 1.5 hours waling tour and climbing down some ladders is involved. Please wear comfortable shoes for this 600 meter trip. Lower Antelope Canyon Tours has smaller group sizes and the guide stays with you during the entire tour, sharing information about the geology, history, and Navajo Traditional ways. The Lower Antelope Canyon tends to be less crowded than the Upper Antelope Canyon and is preferred by many because of its narrow canyon walls and ladders that take you to the levels that have been carved by flash floods from the upper mesas. The sandstone walls are exquisitely formed, and the Lower Antelope Canyon offers a longer canyon exploration.

Our tour was amazing!! We were worried about the crowds with how much of a hot-spot this area was, but the company controlled the crowds wonderfully and we never felt rushed or like we needed to pick up the pace with other groups before/after us. Eder did it all!! He was high energy, charismatic, inclusive, and SO willing to snap pictures of everyone throughout our tour. We're VERY pleased with our outing and would 1000% recommend this to family + friends!

Amazing views! Very nice guide. The site has a lot of visitors but you can still get your pictures in even in the crowd.

Walking through Antelope Canyon was an unbelievable experience. The scenery was amazing and our guide new all of the right spots to show various formations along with tips for taking amazing pictures on our phones.
