Way overpriced, $150/ person, really??? I had heard it was first-rate, no way! Been to luaus on Maui and Big Island years ago that were much better.
They want you there at 5 pm so you can have your pictures taken and paid for, then ushered to stalls to buy stuff. Dinner not till 6:30. No pu-pus till then, really? Open bar, but people need to have pu-pus for that price.
It was loud, could not carry on a conversation with people at our table, and the food was TERRIBLE!
Was the teriyaki chicken cooked for two or three days, same for the fish??? The lomilomi salmon was the worst, extremely salty and unedible. The only things we could eat were the bland mac salad, the pulled pork, and the marginal desserts.
As my husband said, you could get a better meal for about $130 less at Golden Corral…
The show was interesting, telling the tale of Polynesians finding the Islands, but was too loud, repetitive and too much.
We left early. What a rip off. DON’T BOTHER!
