This is our second tour with Dom, and we intend to go on more. We visit Brooklyn every year because our daughter and her husband live here. Last year we went on the Red Hook tour and this year the Williamsburg tour. Both were very different because of the weather (VERY cold and super windy in Red Hook and beautiful in Williamsburg) and the different type of neighborhood, but very similar in that Dom was our leader. He is a native Brooklynite who loves his home and does all he can to know Brooklyn as much as possible. It's in his blood. From all our travels we've learned that there is no guide as uniquely qualified and sincere as one who is born and bred in the place and lives there full-time, too. We learned so much about the history of the neighborhoods and the local businesses in them and also experienced some yummy eats, too. All in all, Made in Brooklyn is well worth the money—and a generous tip, too!

We joined Dom on the Dumbo tour on a VERY cold sunny afternoon. However, with his local knowledge of the area we forgot about the cold early on. Whether we were either the only ones that booked on that day, or the only ones that turned up (due to it being -3 degrees Celsius) we had a very personable and enjoyable walk around Dumbo with 'off the beaten path' experiences including meeting one of the local artists and chatting with him in his studio for a good quarter of an hour. We have not one bad thing to say about Dom and his Made in Brooklyn tours. He is inspiring, passionate about Brooklyn, easy going and will enlighten any member on his tour group with fantastic information. We did a lot of research before we booked this tour and would highly recommend anyone to Dom.

We booked the 'Dumbo' tour with Dom Gervasi following a friend's recommendation, and i'm so glad we did. It was incredible! Dom is sooooo knowledgable and friendly. I went with 3 other friends from Australia, and the history is mind boggling. Dom made it extremely informative, but also fun. It's such an exciting part of New York we wouldn't have known existed if it wasn't for Dom. So many cobbled stone streets full of interesting shops run by talented entrepreneurs. I highly recommend going into the clothes shop called 'Trunk' (68 Jay St, Brooklyn). Their designers are so amazing and make such cool one-offs. Bought a beautiful dress there. The chocolate cafe/shop is so yum too. Thanks Dom!
