Make every effort to go on this tour to the Magnolia Plantation. The drive to the plantation is pleasant and our tour guide, Alan, was great. We toured the gardens with Alan, rode the tram and met Alan’s wife who introduced us to the plantation building. The tour of the plantation itself was very interesting and the beautiful weather added to this most enjoyable day. Great venue for a wedding!!

From the comfortable air conditioned bus ride, the very informative tour guide, the beautiful plantation and grounds, and back to our drop off - the whole tour was well organized, informative and our guide was super helpful and friendly. He spoke loud enough for us to hear him on the bus and the actual walking part of the tour. The tram guide was equally as good and much of what was said was repetitive but it helped because it was a lot of interesting information so the repetitiveness helped me absorb it more. They were clear on our expectations for food and bathrooms (bathrooms were nice at the plantation but plan ahead as the tour goes on without you and the breaks are minimal). They recommend a big breakfast before you leave - good plan. There is a snack bar but that's later in the day - at the end so again, plan accordingly. They were good to point out lots of wildlife and slow down so you can see it. A very organized and well planned tour.

We have just finished the city and Magnolia Plantation tour. Our tour guide, Alan, was brilliant. He gave us so much interesting information and I can’t praise him highly enough. He had a great sense of humour. It was a long day for him but nothing was too much trouble. He answered everybody’s questions and was clearly very knowledgeable. The plantation is well worth a visit but also the city tour part was excellent.
