We booked with another company and was cancelled last minute! My hotel recommended this tour company and we were lucky to get a spot! The guides are locals and highly knowledgeable! The small bus is clean and comfortable. It accommodates about 25 people, The meeting and return location is at the Visitor center shed across the street from the Hampton Inn. All the free trolley lines have a stop here. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the plantation and the tour guide does not talk the entire time as ther is traffic to attend! You will get a time and what to expect before entering the Plantation. The tour begins with a walk around the gardens. Next, you will ride a tram with the wildlife expert that is highly knowledgable and entertaining! Our tour guide comes along to add a few details and answer questions. Finally you are escorted up the staircase to Magnolia home tour. The tour group is given front of the line position with just our group! The tour leads you through two floor of the home and “NO Photography” is allowed! The person leading this tour was superd, and very enthusiast preforming her duties! I swear this lady must have an acting/ stage background! At the end of this tour the guide reminds you that you have about 30 minutes on your own and where he will pick you up! The gift shop is so quaint and better prices than I found at the Market! We did not visit the petting zoo but saw a few of the small ponies near the food court! I highly recommend booking through this reputable company! I definitely will use them again and again!!

We really enjoyed the tours.....of the gardens, the nature train tour and the mansion. However, we were told there would be time to eat lunch there. Because the train tour took longer than our bus driver thought, we didn't have time to get a snack or anything until 2 PM. That was so late and we were hungry. But overall, we enjoyed everything and would like to return someday.
