Basically tour guide takes you through maid of the mist queue and charges extra 30$ for doing so. This is a tourist trap. Avoid this trip. You can do maid of the mist yourself.

You were lare and never experienced the tour! I left my group to get you your tickets which was a huge inconvenience next time do not book a guided tour!

This tour is an scam. The tour guide didn’t give us any information, he just walked us from the hard rock to the boat counter. We even have to line up like everybody else to get the tickets to the boat, of corse we didn’t have to pay to get into the boat But Be aware that the price of the maid of the mist is ONLY 25 usd if you buy them directly in the park. Basically Viator charged us an extra 30 usd for nothing. Very disappointed. Do yourself a favor and just pay for your tickets for the Maid of mist at the counter. Believe me, there is no adventure walking tour.

I know well that the tourguide you had would never do what you claim. Peter is well acomplished and always does a great job as far as it being a scam maybe you should not purchase a guided tour if you can do it on your own.
