We had a great experience kayaking and turtle watching. Our guide, John Hess, was a joy and not only taught us everything we needed to know to be safe and have fun but shared excellent stories about Hawaiian culture, the coral reefs and the environment. John was engaging and clearly out to ensure everyone had a good time. The morning we went had absolutely perfect weather and we were fortunate enough to see several green turtles while snorkeling. I highly recommend this adventure.

My son and I had a wonderful day kayaking and snorkeling with John Shappell and Maui Kayaks. It was a beautiful smooth day out on the water. We saw plenty of turtles and other sea life. Highly recommend this tour!!

I highly recommend this tour! It was a super fun morning, amazing views from the water while kayaking and we swam with dozens of turtles! John S was fun and super knowledgeable - he even gave us amazing food recommendations for the rest of our trip. Thanks John for an awesome experience, can’t wait to see the pictures you captured!
