The description is misrepresented. barely seen manatees who only get the head above water. There is no scenery or birds as you go along men made canals. The boat had the Motor needed to be used when the large one was shut off Not fully functional. This tour should be advertised exclusively as a tour to seed manatees in the man made canals.

Manatees are creatures we cannot control and they happen to be in the canals of the local waterfront community on this day. We often see them along the mangroves as well. But we advertise to see manatees and that is what we delivered. The smaller motor is called a trolling motor and is the only safe motor to view a manatee up close. It is functional and protects the manatees.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our captain, Captain Andrew, was a Navy Veteran. He was fantastic! He took us to spots to view manatees, alligators and LOTS of birds. He also explained the environmental function of mangroves and the consequences of removing them. I truly enjoyed his conversation and he has so much patience. He shared polarized sunglasses with us. We left and returned promptly.
