What To Expect

Port of the Islands Marina

The 90 minute covered boat Tour departs from Port of the Islands Marina every 45 minutes daily 365 days per year.

Manatee Sightseeing & Wildlife Adventures

Experienced nature loving Coast Guard licensed captains to narrate the tour in a manner that resonates with children/adults of all ages. Manatees in the wild may be in the harbor area, the residential bays, or in the exciting mangrove forest. Manatees come to the boat over 90% of the time. Patrons enjoy matching birds in the trees to the provided Everglades bird Card. There is a max of 6 passengers per boat. Family groups of 7-42 will use multiple boats staying close.

Andrew and his dog Bella was the absolute BEST guide ever. We got to see a turtle, 2-3 alligators, and 2-3 manatees! It was hard at first to find the manatees but he made sure we didn't end the cruise without seeing a few! He knew his facts very well, answered all our curious questions, accompanied my 11 month old baby extremely well! He didn't mind her cries here and there. He was extremely alert and kept the conversation flowing. 10/10 would recommend a tour with Andrew and Bella! ☺️

Capt John made the trip! While we did weather a small swell, he was quick to spot an “aggregation” of manatees, a black tip shark and several alligators along the way. This is a great trip for the family as the humor is quite enjoyable and the information enlightening! We will definitely be back with our family for this tour.
