We just finished our Manatee Ecotour with Captain John. We had a blast. We learned so much and saw several manatees. The highlight was seeing a mother manatee and her calf. We would highly recommend this tour. (And if you can get Captain John, he is both knowledgeable and entertaining!)

Such a fun, educational tour. Captain John was friendly, knowledgeable, and hilarious. We went on the 11:30 AM tour (which is one of the better times, according to the captain). The boat wasn't crowded, which I really appreciated. A few minutes into the tour, we had two manatees approach the boat. Then we turned and rode deeper into the estuary. The mangrove trees were lovely and we saw several alligators as well as manatees, and even a small shark. Once we got to the last leg of the tour, three manatees appeared near the boat. It was unbelievable to see them so close. We had an unforgettable experience in the best way. I recommend you bring cash if you're interested in leaving a tip for your captain. I really wanted to tip the captain, but there was no ATM or cash back at the giftshop.

Awesome tour with Capt John. He is the Manatee whisperer.😁 He was funny and had a lot of knowledge about the area and birds, animals and reptiles. Saw lots of manatees, along with alligators and a couple of sharks. Love there were only 6 of us on the boat. Very enjoyable!!
