What To Expect

Key Largo

Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure. Experience the waters off Key Largo as a local during this 3 hour tour in the mangroves off Key Largo. Kayak through crystal clear waters as we learn about the mangroves and their importance to the ecosystem of the Florida Keys. Learn about the birds, fish, turtles, and manatees that frequent these areas. For those that are interested snorkel through some of the tour as you experience the world under the mangroves as well. For those booking a 2 or more guests, we will automatically assign tandem (2 person) kayaks to those travelers. Travelers requesting single kayaks…please call the store at 395.451.3018 after booking to request single kayaks.

Enjoyed our time on the water very much. Nikki was our guide and she was very sweet and a hard worker. No one was there when we got back so she had to drag boats collect paddles and vests. By herself so we all pitched in. She then called and the driver hadn’t even left the office. So we all waited some more. Visiting with Nikki was fun.

Seeing the jellyfish was a great experience. Too bad there were no manatees to see that day. The weather was perfect too! The pace was good for beginner kayakers.

One of our favorite things we did while in the Keys! Had a great time with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Would not have seen nearly as much on our own. Would recommend to anyone looking to adventure around the mangroves :)
