What To Expect

Key Largo

Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure. Experience the waters off Key Largo as a local during this 3 hour tour in the mangroves off Key Largo. Kayak through crystal clear waters as we learn about the mangroves and their importance to the ecosystem of the Florida Keys. Learn about the birds, fish, turtles, and manatees that frequent these areas. For those that are interested snorkel through some of the tour as you experience the world under the mangroves as well. For those booking a 2 or more guests, we will automatically assign tandem (2 person) kayaks to those travelers. Travelers requesting single kayaks…please call the store at 395.451.3018 after booking to request single kayaks.

Entire staff was very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed kayaking through the mangrove tunnels, and Keith was an excellent guide! He was very knowledgeable about the marine life, and even pulled out a few critters for us to view up close (mangrove crab, mangrove jellyfish, and hermit crab). There was water, snacks and ice cold towels at the end of the journey. I would highly recommend the Florida Outfitters team for an enjoyable experience.

This trip was great! Wonderful jaunt through the mangroves with great education on the local wildlife and marine life. We had a great time.
