What To Expect

Key Largo

Mangrove Tunnel Kayak Adventure. Experience the waters off Key Largo as a local during this 3 hour tour in the mangroves off Key Largo. Kayak through crystal clear waters as we learn about the mangroves and their importance to the ecosystem of the Florida Keys. Learn about the birds, fish, turtles, and manatees that frequent these areas. For those that are interested snorkel through some of the tour as you experience the world under the mangroves as well. For those booking a 2 or more guests, we will automatically assign tandem (2 person) kayaks to those travelers. Travelers requesting single kayaks…please call us after booking to request single kayaks.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Great trip. Got to see Mangroves up and close. Our guide was great. Definitely would repeat if down in Keys again.

We had an enjoyable time on our paddle. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Our only isssue was that we have some experience kayaking (at least flat MN/WI lakes) and several of the people on the trip had none, and were uncoordinated enough for it to really slow the trip down. We felt like we saw less than we could have. It would be nice if they had split it up so that there were a beginner specific trip. Also the description of the trip needs to be changed because it states that there would be an opportunity to snorkel a portion of it. I don’t think that area would have lent itself to snorkeling so I don’t think we missed much but it would help with expectations.

The trip was fun and a good arm workout lol Suri was an amazing and fun guide. She gave us route options, pointed out fish for us to see along the way, provided great instruction and made sure we all had a good time.
