The Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park requires a $10 Parking Pass per vehicle if you do not have a Collier County Beach Parking Sticker

Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult

What To Expect

Marco Island

We will be paddling into the Mangrove Tunnels of the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve just North of Marco Island launching from the Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park. The regions only biologist guides will help you find unique wildlife while teaching you about the ecology and history of this amazing place! Get on the water with the guides who have spent their lives studying this area and explore with a real local biologist!

After exploring the mangrove tunnels with the only biologist guides in Naples & Marco, visit our partners at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center and enjoy FREE ADMISSION with the purchase of your tour ticket to explore their exhibits, aquariums, art gallery, theater, and hiking trails! Be sure to ask about becoming a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay to further support the Reserve, gain access to special programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and discounts on tours, rentals, and at the nature store!

Our guide was a biology teacher from the area and was extremely knowledgeable of the mangroves and the critters inhabiting this beautiful part of our country! My family of four couldn't think of a better way to kick off our vacation here in Naples. We even learned that there is a group of naked kayakers out there(better of brought enough sunscreen;)) but our guide managed to avoid them and took us to some amazing sites around the preserve. We'll be back again!

Beautiful and relaxing. Sam was a great and knowledgeable guide. Learned so much. Highly recommend. Definitely reminds us why we need to protect our environment. Also was our first time kayaking!

Loved our kayak tour. Our guide, Sam, was excellent and gave us so much insight into the Rookery Bay. We saw quite an array of birds, and watched dolphins aggressively circle their prey. Loved that she took so many pictures that are all available to us on line.
