The Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park requires a $10 Parking Pass per vehicle if you do not have a Collier County Beach Parking Sticker

Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult

What To Expect

Marco Island

We will be paddling into the Mangrove Tunnels of the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve just North of Marco Island launching from the Isle of Capri Paddlecraft Park. The regions only biologist guides will help you find unique wildlife while teaching you about the ecology and history of this amazing place! Get on the water with the guides who have spent their lives studying this area and explore with a real local biologist!

After exploring the mangrove tunnels with the only biologist guides in Naples & Marco, visit our partners at the Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center and enjoy FREE ADMISSION with the purchase of your tour ticket to explore their exhibits, aquariums, art gallery, theater, and hiking trails! Be sure to ask about becoming a member of the Friends of Rookery Bay to further support the Reserve, gain access to special programs, events, volunteer opportunities, and discounts on tours, rentals, and at the nature store!

Forest and Renae were great. Forest is so knowledgeable about the mangroves, the marine biology, the birds, the mudflats, etc.,. The day was very educational and definitely not boring! Renae was so fun and helpful. What a great paddle coach!! This is a really good family friendly way to experience the precious gem we call south west florida.

We did the Heart of Rookery Bay kayak tour with Evan - fantastic tour! Weather was nice, little breeze - but well worth the 2.5 hours. Saw a wild dolphin right after launching, many birds, fish, raccoons, fish, etc. Evan was a terrific guide ~ marine biologist - full of information on the estuary, the animals, water and many other topics. Scenery was awesome as well. Would strongly recommend the tour....even if you've never kayaked - you will get the hang of it after a couple of minutes.
