We wanted to explore Manhattan and get off the beaten track so booked this tour. We met Ben, our guide over coffee, and instantly got on. We talked about where we could go and what we could do. We ended up walking for miles, stopping for lunch in a back street Thai restaurant. Ben was entertaining, friendly, so knowledgeable. This tour is what you make it and we had the most amazing time. We saw the Battery, Chinatown, little Italy, soho, Greenwich village…. If you enjoy walking and want to see the real NYC, then definitely book this tour.

This was such an enjoyable way to experience the Upper West Side and Central Park. Our tour guide, Dan, was friendly and knowledgeable. He stopped regularly to provide us with interesting information about the different sites. He also gave us great suggestions for other attractions and restaurants to check out while we were visiting NYC. We did a lot during our 5 day stay in the city, but this 2.5 hour tour was one of my favorite things we did while on our trip.

I liked how Andrew included information about German immigrants, bc my heritage is German. He is very knowledgeable about the city and I enjoyed the tour very much. It was interesting to learn about the architecture and cultural mash-ups that grew out of NYC.
