Andrew did a great job with communication before the tour and Dan was fantastic at showing 5 of us around New York on 9/16. He kept our interests in mind and revised his plan of attack a couple of times to accommodate our slower than expected pace. We wanted/needed to take our time. If I were to do it again, I would probably opt for 3 hours instead of 4.5 only because the walking was starting to wear on some of our bodies and we needed to reserve some muscle power for the next day! My only suggestion for streetwise would be to provide a map of NY at the beginning of the tour so that customers could follow along and see where they are on a map. Either that or suggest that people grab a map beforehand. Anyway, Great job !

During our stay in hotel Pod 51 we joined a pod walk to the Meatpacking District, The High Line and the Village. Dan guided us through all te streets and gave us lots of interesting information and showed us a lot of the neigbourhood. We really enjoyed it!! Great walk, great tour, great fun!!

Dan Shaki of Streetwise Tours gave my husband and I another informative peek at the upper east side of Manhattan and Central Park. He was our private guide last August when we visited New York City for the first time. We walked and road the subway which we feel is a great way to really get a feel for the city. We highly recommend his professionalism, his patience with older adults, and knowledge of a city he grew up in. 2 thumbs up!
