Overview

We carry a maximum of 6 passengers so we can offer a more intimate manta ray snorkel experience than the larger "cattle boats" in Kona.

In addition to delivering a more private experience, our small group size allows for a better manta ray show. Your swim guide will tow your party to the most active areas of the snorkel site, as you hold onto a light board and enjoy the show. Larger groups on bigger boats are often required to stay next to the boat, and can't chase the manta ray action as we do. By locating the most active areas of the snorkel site, you'll have a higher chance of seeing more manta rays.

If you book all 6 seats on any trip, you will have your own private charter.

AMAZING experience night snorkeling with the Manta Rays using Coral Reef Adventures!!! We went out on the 2nd small group tour last night at 7pm with Jake and Jeff. When we got to the Manta Ray spot by the Kona airport we were the only boat there for the entire time! Jake stayed with our group of only 4 people. The ENTIRE time we had Manta Rays feeding directly under our snorkel board. They were literally brushing up against our belly. Jake was extremely attentive to ensure we were all okay. He told us information about what we were experiencing with these majestic creatures and answered all our questions. JAKE and JEFF rock!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

This is the BEST ray experience. We had a small group where most boats we saw had 10+ people. They take six out max. Our guide Jake was exceptionally knowledgeable and found is the best spot immediately. This is an absolutely unmissable experience.

Eric helped us from the parking lot to the very end of our trip. What a memorable experience. We had our own paddle boat and Eric took us around to where the manta rays were. He was great with our 7 year old, making sure he was comfortable in the water and getting the best experience he could.
