Ensure a manta ray sighting on this 2.5-hour night tour. Head out in Kona, one of the best places in the world to see mantas, to see the sunset over the water before jumping in to enjoy swimming with manta rays in their underwater nighttime realm. "Manta safari" guides escort you around the site with a mobile light show that attracts these gentle and fascinating creatures. Relax on the observation deck with unobstructed viewing and plenty of room to move around. All snorkel equipment, including flotation devices and wetsuits, is included.

Please note the departure time throughout the year adjusts to the sunsetting sky. Jan 1- March 31 departure time is 5:30PM and 8:30pm April 1- September 31 departure time is 6PM and 9pm, October 1- December 31 departure time is 5PM and 8pm. You will be placed where there is availability. Please call 24 hours prior to confirm departure time.

This is one of those bucket list items that you need to do. Our captain (name ? sorry)and crew, Kyle, Mika and Nicole were friendly, informative and efficient. They provided us with wet suit shirts, water, soda and snacks as we headed out to the spot. The Manta Rays did not disappoint us, they swam so close to you , you thought that they would for sure touch you. Afterwards to help warm up they provided you with hot chocolate, yum. Well worth the adventure, we had a great time.

We had an incredible time! Five Mantas entertained us! The Bite Me crew was helpful, informative and funny! We especially liked Lee (sp?) from Micronesia. He was awesome!
