It was a very entertaining tour. The guide, as the former police chief, gives a lot of personal touches to a broad history of Manteo, and keeps you laughing throughout. The tour was "primo" if you are looking for a casual and informative visit!

Thank you so much! I really try to keep our tours entertaining and fun for all. Personal touches are what truly makes our tour special. Your group was especially fun for me to host. It really makes the history come alive when we have such interactive guests... Please be sure to come back to visit us again soon.! Y'all were great!

The chief is very knowledgeable about the area and he shared great hidden facts about Manteo. The Underground Railroad by lighthouse beam was particularly engrossing. Negatives were that our tour went 45 minutes longer than expected and we stood too much rather than walking all around town.

I really appreciate the feedback! Sometimes we unfortunately get started a bit late due to other members of the group arriving at or near the start of the tour without leaving time to park and use facilities before we start. I also like to give our guests a great value for their money and sometimes throw in some extra stories when the groups are especially interactive, as was yours. Our many visitors from all over the world and nation usually interact well even though they are from vastly different places. Sometimes our guests ask questions and interact with me to a greater extent than everyone else in the group. I certainly wish to make all of our guests feel at home and well entertained. I am so glad that you enjoyed your visit!

Thanks so much! Your group though from vastly different areas of our great nation really interacted well on the tour. I know that your group had a lot of questions. I always seek to be able to provide our guests with a great overview of the many "firsts" in history that happened here. I am so pleased when our guests really interact with me as your guide. It truly brings to life our living history and legacy which you are now a part!
