Overview

Get the complete Memphis experience on this all-inclusive city tour. It’s a part history tour, part attraction hopping, part food tour that will introduce you to everything that makes Memphis special. You’ll visit World Famous Beale Street (the Home of the Blues); the Lorraine Motel, to see the balcony where Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated; the Rock 'n' Soul Museum or Edge Motor Museum (if option selected); Lansky Brothers Clothing Store, clothier to Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and B.B. King (and still one of the most stylish places to shop!); and get a barbecue tasting at one of the best barbecue joints in the city!

Along the way, we'll show you our favorite Memphis sights, including the Mississippi River, Victorian Village, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, old Cotton Row, and Court Square, the lovely and historic heart of 19th century Memphis.

Within a few blocks there are four different parking garages, and several open-air parking lots. The closest garage to our location (just two blocks away) is at 149 Peabody Place between Second Street and BB King Blvd., next to the Hampton Inn. You can try your luck with on-street metered parking, too, on Second Street just south of Beale; on Beale between Front and Second; or along Peabody Place from Front to Fourth Street.

We loved this tour, Meagan was our guide and it ended up being a private tour. Meagan was very knowledgeable of the sites we toured, historical houses, Elviss apartment as a kid, Motel Lorraine where Martin Luther King was killed, Central BBQ Co restaurant and ending at Rock and Soul Museum. We are seniors and cant walk long distance, this was perfect for us. Thanks Meagan

Loved this tour. Smaller van so more personalized. Kathy our tour guide was awesome. Never felt rushed. Lots of information given and pointed our interesting things that we could go back later and do. Would highly recommend this tour!

This tour was great. Larry, our guide was pleasant, knowledgeable, and answered ally questions. He let us take our time on the guided part of the tour. He made sure we arrived at the Peabody for a great location. The self guided tour was awesome. We spent 2 hours in the Rock and Soul Museum.
