They provided clothing and boots to keep you dry, which wasn't the easiest to get on and then the life jacket compounded my issues, but all is necessary. Once in the boat, the tour out on the lake is nice. We chose the boat in which we did not have to paddle, but that is an option you are given. We left that to the professional--Chaz! Who was excellent by the way and provided narration about the glacier and the lake. We then started down the river, which was at a high level. The river was churning with its rapids which Chaz handled very well giving us a fun time. There was a bar at the end of the river float which you could buy drinks at or there was free warm apple cider. Definitely a good time and a lot of laughs.

What an amazing canoe trip. We we’re metres away from the glacier and an iceberg. Dave our guide was fantastic at managing our canoe to get the best vantage points of the glacier. This trip exceeded our expectations for the Alaskan experience.Thank you Dave

Great fun rafting the small rapids and floating down the scenic mendenhall river. Putting on the gear might have been the hardest part of the trip!!
