We originally booked the Mendenhall Lake Kayak Adventure, however it was cancelled due to the temperature and conditions near the glacier. We were offered a refund, or we could do this tour, so we decided to take the float tour. It was great, Julia was an awesome guide, providing us with information during the entire trip. The float trip was relaxing, with just enough excitement in certain parts.

From start to finish our family had fun rafting at Mendenhall Glacier!! My 10 year old was able to paddle, which he thought was awesome! We highly recommend it!!

This was our first excursion while on an Alaskan cruise. It was nothing short of amazing!! Alex was our guide. He was excellent! We cruised by the Mendenhall Glacier and learned about its history, then we rafted down the Mendenhall River. There was a group of about 10-12 rafts. Safety was the main concern of all the guides. It was exciting, exhilarating, and so much fun. It was very well organized and well worth the money!! We came away with some memories we will treasure always!! Thanks Alex!! You were fantastic!!
