Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

Mendenhall Glacier

Guests will spend 60-90 minutes hiking around the rocky moraine and exploring near the Mendenhall Glacier.

The entire Mendenhall Glacier ICE Adventure Tour operates in the Tongass National Forest, the largest National Forest in the United States.

Not enough stars available for this tour. Tour of a lifetime. Ryan and Casey were both very knowledgeable. The canoe ride was amazing, the glacier was fantastic and the company was great. Definitely recommend this tour. You will not regret it.

We took this tour on our last full day of our Alaska trip and it was truly the highlight of our vacation! Ryan and Andrew were our guides and they made it so much fun. They were extremely knowledgeable, taught us some fun facts along the journey, and made sure we all felt very safe and comfortable! My knees are not in great shape, so I was a little nervous to do this, but I had no trouble with it at all thanks to the gear they provided, and the guidance along the way! Thanks for helping make this the trip of a lifetime!
