THIS IS A MUST-DO!! We did many amazing things on our trip to Alaska and everyone in my family agreed this was their favorite day. We did the Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure tour and it was the perfect mix of exhilarating adventure paired with the beauty of Alaska. Our guides Joey and Ben were WONDERFUL! They were very experienced, informative and engaged throughout the entire afternoon. I traveled with my family and they took the time to make sure each of us were comfortable each step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure we made the most out of our time. They provided everything we needed to have a great experience. This excursion was truly priceless!

My husband and I had an amazing experience last week canoeing to the glacier. The guides were so informative and I could not even retain all of the incredible info they had about the glacier and its surrounding environment. We had great weather and we were prepared with gear that kept us dry and comfortable. I really felt like we got the full experience of the glacier while staying safe the whole time. This excursion is not for wimps and so if you don't like exercise or working to experience nature its not for you. We loved the good work-out but it was a little challenging for some of the old folks in the canoe. Would defiantly recommend this excursion if you are in Alaska!

It is roughly around 2.5 miles to canoe out to the Mendenhall Glacier and everyone is required to paddle, so it is definitely a team effort.. We are so happy you felt safe and had an amazing experience. Thank you for the recommendation!

This was a great tour! Abby met us at the port and we had a short drive to the launch site. The paddle to the glacier took about an hour. The hike on the glacier was amazing and we were extremely fortunate to be able to go into a beautiful ice cave. Abby and Ben are fun, informative and experienced guides. I highly recommend this tour.

The Mendenhall Glacier is constantly changing, so any feature, including an ice cave is extremely lucky! We are so happy you enjoyed your time with us. Thank you.
