Spencer and Casey were excellent guides. Joking around and having fun, while also concerned with everyone's safety. We have a family of 5- ages 17,16 and 11, mix of boys and girls. They all enjoyed it. I found muscles I haven't used in a long time paddling the canoe, but it was well worth it! Not many people can say they've walked on a glacier! We had amazing weather (sunny and low 70's). Layers are good as it was windy on the glacier, but high-quality, waterproof outer layers were provided. I brought a DSLR camera with a big lens and was able to carry it with me on the glacier with no issues. It's not a rigorous "hike", just a rocky walk to the glacier. Crampons made the glacier walk much easier. Thanks for an amazing experience!

Amy, thanks for sharing your experience on the Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure. We’re glad to hear you had a great time with the guides, and got beautiful weather to top it off. Great tip to bring warm layers to the glacier, because even though we provide waterproof/windproof shells, the wind created on hotter days can be a bit chilly. Cameras are always welcome, so we’re glad you took advantage of the drybag and brought it along on the canoe ride. We would love to see those photos, so if you do post on social outlets make sure to tag @liquidalaskatours
Thanks once again for joining us, and sharing your thoughts, we hope to adventure with you again!
