Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

Mendenhall Glacier

Unique and fun way to experience Alaska. My wife, sons (16 and 20) and I did this during our Princess Cruise. We booked ourselves through my credit card. Email correspondence with Abby was quick and friendly. Pick up close to cruise ship with an informative ride to lake. Quality gear (REI). We had a large group (12 + guides) so we had the biggest boat. Paddle out and back took some effort but frequent breaks and views made it easy. Glacier time was great. Allowed to go at your own pace and comfort level. Truly the best way to appreciate the glacier. Grant and Ryan were fantastic. They were personable and entertaining but obviously well trained and made safety a priority, Highly recommend this excursion.

We did the glacier tour and had an unbelievably great time. Our guides Abby and Grant were very professional and knowledgeable about the surroundings, and worked very hard to make sure our group was safe and were enjoying our adventure. We would highly recommend this to anyone considering a glacier tour!!! Thank You Abby and Grant and Liquid Alaska Tours!!!

This excursion was completely awesome! I would highly recommend including it on your visit to Juneau. My son and I had a blast rowing out to the glacier and on the glacier. Our guides Grant and Ryan were fantastic and very knowledgeable. They even offered some comedic fare and caught grief from the group when the missed the mark :). Overall, the staff was easy and pleasant to work with in booking the excursion, Grant and Ryan were great, and being on the glacier was nothing short of memorable. I would definitely recommend this excursion.
