Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure Tour

Overview
Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. Every tour is unique and space is limited, making this Juneau’s most exciting and sought-after adventure tour.

What an amazing experience to see this part of the world. The glaciers are sadly decreasing with global warming but it was still an experience we wont forget. Seeing the browns bears with Cubs and the bald eagles in their own environment was wonderful.

The only thing more spectacular than Mendenhall Glacier were our tour guides Abby and Joey!! These two were amazing with our group. Patient with those who needed a little more attention and daring and adventurous with the rest. Knowledgeable and totally thorough with safety. The glacier is beyond any words. The canoe trip is a little strenuous but lots of breaks and encouragement from our guides made it an awesome part of the whole experience. If you want to visit a glacier, forget the helicopter and get in the CANOE with Liquid Alaska Tours. More importantly with Abbey and Joey. these two were VOTED “best tour guides ever” by our family!!!! This is a must if you are in Juneau!!!! Experience we will never forget!! Thank you again Abby and Joey!!! Diane and Tony

During my Alaskan cruise, I wanted to an outdoor experience that would let me and family be a part of this amazing landscape and Liquid Alaska tours delivered. Our two guides, Abby and Grant were awesome. From the canoe trip out to the glacier and then hiking up onto it - I couldn't have asked for anything better. It was the highlight of our cruise. Liquid Alaska had top-notch equipment and you always felt safe. Abby and Grant, thanks for a great time and adventure.
