Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure Tour

Overview
Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. This tour surpassed all expectations. The guides, Spencer and Grant, were awesome. Knowledgeable, fun, kept us safe but not overbearingly. The ice tour itself was spectacular and the canoe ride was a great one in itself. This company is top notch and it shows in the service they provide. Totally worry the money!

My wife and I loved this excursion. This was our first time on a glacier and it was super interesting. The views were great and we learned so much and saw things we'd never seen before. It can get cold so bring a few layers. They provide everything to keep you covered. You might want a beanie hat or skull cap on colder days. Casey and Ryan were our guides. They did a great job--knowledgeable, fun, helpful even if Ryan's jokes were as bad as my Dad Jokes. Thanks to Abby for coming and making the trip possible! She was a delight to have along.

Thank you Jason and Stacy! Good tip- bring a hat and gloves for the glacier. We provide paddling gloves for the canoe ride, but it tends to get a little cold when standing on a 13 mile long piece of ice! It was a pleasure to experience the glacier with you two.
