Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure Tour

Overview
Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. Highlight of our trip. Ryan, Casey and Abby could not have done anymore to make this a memorable adventure. Much better than just landing on top and stepping off helicopter. Filled with facts and great personal attention. Hiking through and around the ice fall was something we will always remember as well as the canoe ride to and back from the glacier. Sad that this wonderful sight is going away each year. See it before it is gone.

Henry! It was such a pleasure to share the Mendenhall Glacier with you and Sharon (love your accent). The canoe ride back was magical with a little bit of rain and sunshine! It is an honor to be apart of your Alaskan vacation. I am so happy YOU made that possible.

The tour was great! Joey and Spencer are very knowledgeable and friendly. They provide you with plenty of stops to take photos too and are happy to take them for you. The guides also showed us some hidden spots in the glacier with mini waterfalls. The tour is worth every cent. We canoed passed the visitor center which is quite far away from the glacier itself. Being able to actually hike on the glacier is thrilling and something you will never forget.

Walking on the Mendenhall Glacier and seeing it from the Visitor Center is like two different worlds- definitely not the same experience. There is something quite special about walking on a piece of ice that is hundreds of years old. We are so happy to be apart of that memory with you. Thank you.
