Mendenhall Glacier Ice Adventure Tour

Overview
Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. Our family of 4 had a blast. Great day out, and was our favourite outing in our Alaskan cruise. Kids aged 14 and 12. Weather was great - cloudy and cool, but no rain. Highly recommend.

My wife and I took the tour with Ryan and Ben as guides. The lads did a great job of making sure everyone had fun and was safe. It was a great afternoon and we thoroughly recommend this tour. It was run very efficiently to maximize our time on the glacier.

Most guests have a short amount of time in Juneau, so we gear up at the Mendenhall Lake in order to maximize our time on the lake and the glacier. Thank you for spending part of your vacation with us.

I am so glad we went with a tour away from the cruise ship. Our ship only had either viewing tours where you could not get up close and personal with the glacier or the helicopter tour. The reason this tour is so spectacular is the beauty of approaching the glacier and walking on the lower part to it to see the magnificent crevasse. Also, the group size was small (I believe there were 13 of us) which was nice. Alaska Abby and Glacier Grant were terrific guides pointing out all the features of the glacier. I highly recommend this trip!

Our tours are professional, personal and guaranteed small groups. Stepping away from the craziness of cruise ships and downtown to experience the vastness of Alaska is really important and we love the opportunity to be able to share that with our guests. Seeing the glacier for the first time when rounding the peninsula is breath taking. We are so happy you enjoyed your time. Thank you.
