We want our guests to be as comfortable as possible while on our tour, so we provide all the equipment that is needed along with high quality gear to stay dry. We ask that guest dress in layers and according to the weather. Spencer and Grant are excellent, thank you for the recommendation.

100% worth the guided trip. We are from Fairbanks, AK. Tourist guided trips are hit or miss for us, we enjoyed every bit of this outing. The row out is a good workout and the hiking on the glacier isn't bad. They use top of the line gear. The Extra Tuffs with crampons doesn't get more Alaskan than that. They also provided dry bags with healthy, yummy snacks. Definitely bring layers for the glacier hike. Our guides were Ryan and Joey, both were kind, experienced, and had a since of humor. Joey had some great dad jokes that had us chuckling on the row back. Both offered up their extra layers for some people on our trip that weren't prepared well for the cold. Ask Ryan to make you a Mendenhall Mocha!

Grant and Ben our guides were phenomenal! I took my nieces and nephews out for an adventure to remember and boy will we remember this! This trip was highly recommended by another friend and they were so right! The 7 of us and another 3 from our cruise ship took to the canoe and paddled the 2.5 miles to Mendenhall Glacier in a gusty wind from the heat wave Juneau was experiencing. Grant and Ben were completely concerned about our safety first! For their first season in Alaska, they both have a great knowledge of what we saw. They made sure the equipment fit and were very careful not to let any one of us come near danger on the glacier. They even know how to take the best pictures on the Glacier! They were amazing! Coolest part coming back we even saw a porcupine out in the wild.
