Explore Mendenhall Glacier on this exclusive adventure tour into the Alaskan Wilderness. Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. Here you will discover the magnificent ice features up close. Views of specific glacial features like Ice Caves and Moulins cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the constantly moving ice. What To Expect

After finding out our cruise ship was docking an hour later than planned, Liquid Alaska worked hard to get us in a later tour while in Juneau. Since we booked them outside our cruise ship, we were afraid it might be an issue. Not the case! We were SO glad they could accommodate us because the Ice Adventure Trip was the best part of our entire time in Alaska! Abby (NC shout out!) and Casey led our group and they were fabulous! They were knowledgeable and fun. We felt safe the entire time. I won't lie, the paddle back and forth was strenuous for a fairly in-shape person. It was a good workout. The group worked together though and took breaks as needed. Hiking on the glacier just can't be put into words. After getting back home and reflecting on our trip, this excursion was the highlight of our time in Alaska. So glad we went outside our cruise ship and found a tour that was exactly what we wanted!

Excellent day crossing the lake to the glacier and walking on it. Our guides Grant and Mika were very helpful, energetic, knowledgable and fun to be with. Their energy was contagious and we learned a lot about many things. Highlight of our trip! Try to get Grant & Mika as your guides!

We took this trip during our stop in Junea on the Celebrity Solstice. It was the hands down highlight of our entire cruise. Our guides, Casey and Abby, were incredible in every way. They provided great commentary, kept us safe and made the overall experience incredible. This is one of the best run tours that we have ever done. They think of everything. The pick up and transfer to the launch sight was smooth and enjoyable. Their set up to get us all geared up was like clock work. They thought of everything that you could possibly need - even a wet bag with snacks!! While the canoe out to the glacier is rather strenuous, our guides took a few breaks and did an expert job of guiding us during rather tough windy conditions. The short walk and climb onto the glacier was super cool and provided some incredible views and pictures. This was a tour that we will be talking about for a very long time!!
